Hi Dave,

I've just got g++ 3.0.4 running on my cygwin system, and I think the
comments we've got on the -L/usr/local/lib linker option for STLport might
be a bit misleading. It seems like the heap of errors you get are because
the linker is finding the old 2.95.3 libraries *before* the new ones, which
spoils the whole party. Adding -L/usr/local/lib simply alters the search
order - if you de-install the old compiler, the problem disappears without
the need for the -L setting. Has the release gone out yet? If not, it might
be worth modifying the docco appropriately.

Regards,
Raoul Gough.
