I see what you mean. Deinstallation is easy if you've used the new-style
installation (setup.exe) and probably difficult with the old one. For me, it
was just a case of finding the CD I'd originally created, running setup.exe
from it and selecting "Remove" or "Deinstall" or whatever instead of "keep"
for gcc. Otherwise I guess you'd have to tar -t the gcc installation packate
to see what files it installed.

I'll go along with that. It might be worth mentioning that this is only
actually necessary with both compilers installed. In any case, I think we've
got enough there to get people started.
