on MD 9.0 (heavily customized thought), using gcc-3.2, everything looks
fine (up to the hello world example)
> cd jam_src; sh build.sh
...builds without problem
edited user-config.jam, uncommented gcc-3.2 line
> cd examples-v2/hello; bjam

gcc.compile bin/gcc/debug/hello.o
gcc.link bin/gcc/debug/hello
ln-UNIX hello_debug
gcc.compile bin/gcc/release/hello.o
gcc.link bin/gcc/release/hello
ln-UNIX hello_release
ln-UNIX links/hello_release

> ls
bin/ hello_debug@ Jamfile project-root.jam
hello.cpp hello_release@ links/
About the doc (boost-build2/boost_build_v2.html):
The second sentence for installation item 2 is confusing "After that, you
can go to "examples-v2" directory and run bjam --version".
