I wanted to build up two versions; one based on vc and another based 
on MINGW. With MINGW I never progressed beyond jam. Maybe I'll get a 
chance over the next few days.

With vc7 the rest of boost compiled ok once I managed to get jam 
working.

Use vc7 at work and mingw at home. Some libs like regexp are very 
useful for practically every app.
