1. Compile both samples and reproduce the problem.
2. Revert my modified msvc.jam with the official (CVS) version + patch.
3. Verified that this does not reproduce the problem.
Therefore: I broke it ;) Grrr... Arrrg!!
Anyway - your MIDL support isn't the problem :).
