(I'm attempting to re-post this; it didn't seem to make it to the list the
first post attempt I made on 3/10/06. Did the moderator not accept this
message? This seems like a legitimate question, if not an aggressive
attempt at cross-compiles. -Matt)
I'm attempting to build Boost 1.32.0 libraries using a Debian-sarge-based,
mingw cross compiler (build mingw targets on a Debian system) by running
bjam under Wine (<http://www.winehq.com/>).
Is this feasible? Has anyone done it? Any recommendations, tips, or
suggestions?
FWIW, my project has been using embedded Boost libraries for several months
now across 4 platforms, and we've build it on mingw before, but I now want
to make the Debian system my official mingw compile system...and I want to
re-build our boost libs there...and also build some new boost libs on
Debian-mingw that my project didn't save from it's last build (or at least
I can't find at the moment).
