   Btw. there was a bug in tools/jam/src/Jambase causing that error 
message to be trimmed while what it should have said was:

> Error: Illegal attempt to re-bootstrap the build system by invoking
> 
>    'boost-build $(dir)'

> Please consult the documentation at 'http://www.boost.org'.

   Now corrected.
