Hi,

If my understanding is correct boost.build allows linking to either
shared or static versions of stlport but not the "staticx" version. This
is a static version of stlport created with shared runtime and it would
be useful in building standalone dll/sl libraries that don't require the
deployment of any dependencies other than the runtime.

If I may make a suggestion to the boost.build developers, it would be
useful to have an feature to control which version of stlport is linked
in. Maybe <stlport-link> taking values of "static", "shared" or
"staticx".
