Here's a smaller test:

The '``' is confusing quickbook. Possibly the syntax highlighter. I'm
looking into it.

It's likely that you didn't see it before because you weren't using a
debug build. This happened to me with newline issues we had before
before so I think I'll change some of the assertions so that they are
checked in the release build as well.
