Hi,

I've been looking in the documentation (I need to touch the installation 
part for the BOOST_MPI_HOMOGENEOUS change) and found a few opportunities 
for a refresh.

For one I'm going to remove references to LAM/MPI in the documentation. 
It's now replaced (last commit was in 2008) by its successor OpenMPI and 
even the web site has been dropped (http://www.lam-mpi.org/).
