We need better processes and tools before we can really do that. For
instance, we need a better way to communicate to all Boost developers
(including those that don't read the mailing list daily) when we are in
code freeze, because we had a few accidental commits that caused some
late-stage churn in the regression tests. We also need longer-range
planning and a more predictable release schedule, so we can say we're
releasing on date X and actually stick to it.
We've improved the process quite a bit, and we'll get there... but not
today :)
