Yes: I extracted the archive with cygwin bunzip2 version 1.0.3 and winzip
refused to read the tar file. However cygwin tar (1.15.1) did extract it
apparently OK, with no currupted files as far as I can see (and no errors
from using -tv with tar). What version of tar are you using? There's
certainly something strange going on here.
