I downloaded the file above and I am still getting strange results.

I tried two different versions of bzip2 (0.9 & 1.0.3) under QNX both 
with the same following results.

'tar' will process the file but corrupts the file extensions. 'pax' 
complains that it "does not look like a tar archive".

I then ran bunzip2 under QNX and looked at the tar file under Windows 
using Winzip and that returns an "Error reading header after processing 
two entries".

I also tried using bzip2 (1.0.2) running under Windows with the same 
results. The only conclusion I can draw is that the tar file is corrupt. 
Can anyone else replicate these results?

For the record here is the output of tar (under QNX) when trying to list 
the affected files -
