No, I think we should make 'release mode' for Borland look the same as
we would expect Borland users to configure it - matching the same
out-the-box settings for a release build.
It is for Borland and their peer-support groups to educate the users
whether or not this configuration is useful.
I would also suggest that while running Borland release mode tests is
certainly useful, I don't think this configuration should be one of the
'supported' configurations for a Boost release - that should be
strictly the stable debug build (for now.) Whether we can hook up
something in the regression tests to indicate a specific
build-configuration, and split the notion of 'supported platform' down
to special cases, I don't know. Almost certainly not for the 1.34
release, which means we have some real problems to solve :(
