I've been trying to nail down some test failures on the serialization 
library which I haven't been able to isolate for the last 18 months. Now 
I've come to suspect that there a a problem with the io state saver 
library.  It seems to fail with a large number of gcc compilers on linux 
platforms.   The master branch is in even worse shape than the develop 
branch.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Is there a maintainer?

Are test result inspected before we make a release?
