You have to build bjam.
Go to $BOOST_ROOT/tools/build/jam_src and run ./build.sh.
The resulting executable will be at:
$BOOST_ROOT/tools/build/jam_src/bin.linuxx86/bjam

I sugguest making a symbolic link in a public directory that references this file.
