I think you'd better take a deep breath. You are failing to grasp the
basic facts.

No, I am telling you, they are **precisely** identical, aside from
scale. You have to blow up the pages of the hardcover book slightly
to make them match the pages in the PDF, but aside from that, they are
page-for-page and word-for-word identical, down to the smallest
details of formatting and layout.

Oh, AFAIK the $175 is due to the fact that ANSI can't publish books
efficiently and it uses the purchase of hardcover standards to keep
the organization running.

The book from Wiley only came out a year or two ago; for a while the
ANSI document was the only choice.
