Hello,

i've followed your advice

invoking

bjam "--build-dir=C:\Documents and Settings\src\boost\tools" --toolset=gcc stage


or


bjam --build-dir="C:\Documents and Settings\src\boost\tools" --toolset=gcc stage


is the same thing and i get rid of the message.

But

invoking 


bjam --build-dir="C:\Documents and Settings\src\boost\tools" --toolset=gcc stage


or

bjam --build-dir="C:\Documents and Settings\src\boost\tools" --toolset="gcc" stage


i get another error message this time, about  the subdirectory stage of my build directory ,


"could not find main target stage assuming it's a name of a file to create...
project.jam:699: in attribute 
warning:rulename$($(project).attributes).get expands to empty strings..."


What must i do in order stage gets treated as a target argument?
