[Boost-users] Installing Boost (was: Re: Regex problem)

I just ssh'd onto a Linux machine here at my school and compiled and ran it
there, and the test code works fine, so I guess I have a problem with my
boost install.  All I did was download the tar, untar it, cd into the
directory, and run "sudo make install".  It ran for about four hours (I have
an older Powerbook G4).
Did I miss a step?
