Have you tried this with 1.35.0 RC2? See http://boost.cowic.de/rc/
Alternately, if you post a complete program that is failing, I'll give
it a quick try. (Just "fs::exists(L"test.gif");" is failing isn't
enough. I need to see what you are including and what locale setup (if
an) you performed prior to the call.)
