Hi Riccardo,
Sorry for the late reply - I have been away from the internet for a few weeks and only slowly catch up with my e-mail. AFAIK Doug Gregor did not finish the bjam support for BOOST_MPI_HOMOGENEOUS, thus just comment out that line you refer to.
