Subject: [Boost-users] [asio] virtual/emulated serial ports?
Hello,
Does asio, or another boost API, allow developers to create a virtual or emulated serial port?
By virtual or emulated, I mean, creating a software serial port that looks and feels just like the physical hardware, with device protocol to boot.
Or something like a serial-tcp/ip bridge might be satisfactory as well.
Oh, free, or not as expensive, is preferred, of course... :)
Thank you...
Best regards,
Michael
