Geometry Boost List: [geometry] Creating a single polygon out of multi_polygons

Hi all,

Is there a way to create a single polygon(green line) from multi_polygons?

What I have tried is only creating a union of the 2 polygons and get the
convex_hull of all the points in the union. But it seems the points are not
representing the green line.
