For Spatial Indexes there is a separate set of docs:

I'm afraid there is not, for the rest (projections). There has been (in
Doxygen) but that is long ago, and not updated recently.

That sounds interesting, in the past the projections has been
documented, I will look if I can revisit this on short term.
