[Threads-devel] Building thread_rewrite branch on linux

Please forgive my possibly innocent question.
(I am trying to build boost on Linux for the first time.)

How can I compile thread on the thread_rewrite branch?

I checked out the HEAD branch, everything went as expected.
Then I did "cvs update -r thread_rewrite"

Now it complains about
Unable to load Boost.Build: could not find "boost-build.jam"

Also I am wondering why only the libs/thread directory is on the
thread_rewrite, but seemingly the complete boost header
directory.

Still the Boost.Build is not.

Any hints how to build the thread_rewrite available?
