You need the "-f" flag to get everything not on the branch from HEAD
cvs update -f -r thread_rewrite

It's the way I tagged it. I thought I had just tagged the boost.Thread stuff,
and a few other header files (e.g. the interlocked_xxx header from
shared_ptr), but it does appear I tagged too much.
