Please stick to HTML.  Much easier to integrate into the web site.
Also very easy to generate a .PDF from a .HTML if printing becomes an
issue.

Also consider Dietmar's suggestion to use the eGroups Vault feature,
and report back as to whether or not it eases joint development.
