On second thought, you are right (and so are Jeff and Jon).
Boost developers are expressely agreeing on those usages, which I think is
Boost list run by bdawes at acm.org, gregod at cs.rpi.edu, cpdaniel at pacbell.net, john at johnmaddock.co.uk
