While there is mention of optionally supply iconic versions of
the submitted logo, suitability to an icon was not part of the
requirements.  Is it fair to change the requirements now,
especially given that there is a prize waiting for the winner?

(You can certainly vote with icons in mind if you like, but that
doesn't make it fair.)
