I heard this too.

IOW they fear dependencies.
It would be  useful to paint
    "this is not framework, you may use just small piece"
everywhere.

The bcp should be "marketed" better, not many
know about it.

Something ala CP would help both users and aspiring
library writers.

CP doesn't want more page-views?
