hmm...Ok ;-)
Don't expect anything more than some client-side JavaScript , or
anything stylish! I'll just see if I can get a mock up working and my
*database* of libraries for that will just be local JavaScript objects.
Hopefully that should be adequate to see if there is anything in it before
investing time in anything more ambitious. If so I think it would
ultimately need some input from the library authors to fill in the details (
though I would present default data) and that data should be
server side, so library authors can amend (suitably checked and buffered) at
their leisure (minor errors aren't critical as they are in code).
It would also be interesting to try to present the regression test data in a
user friendly way as an alternative to raw regression tests, which are fine for
the library author, but information overload for a potential user. Again just
some dummy client side data embedded in a JavaScript file to start with and see
if it is worth pursuing or not.
Its only fair to say that its really only just doodling. Even assuming
the interface arouses interest, which is a complete unknown yet, there would
obviously need to be a deal of discussion about any implications before doing
anything more of course.
