I'd have to see that to believe it was better. What I can visualize
doesn't look so good to me.

Then the search box will move up and down as the page changes. Seems
like a bad idea to me.

By what criterion?

Actually I note that it seems to be too large and not correctly
aligned in the box when viewing the page at larger font sizes. It
actually overlaps the bottom of its surrounding box (FireFox).

It would have to be a *lot* smaller than it is now to fit there,
wouldn't it?
