Both for the diffing purpose and for repo size (a small change in a
zip, can change the archive a lot, invalidating the smartness of svn
binary diff), I think zips should be avoided (forbidden?) in the
Boost list run by bdawes at acm.org, gregod at cs.rpi.edu, cpdaniel at pacbell.net, john at johnmaddock.co.uk
