[unordered] status update?

I was wondering what the current status of unordered was. I don't see it scheduled for review so I assume none has yet been requested? I'd particularly like to see this make it into boost::tr1 if accepted. Needless to say this is a very important library. I notice recent changes in boost sandbox so I'd appreciate an update on intent from Daniel ( if you have the time ;) ). Thanks, Jamie

There are a few regression problems for GIL running on some more exotic platforms - OSF1, SunOS, HP-UX. http://beta.boost.org/development/tests/trunk/developer/gil_release.html We don't have access to these platforms. Perhaps someone who does could give us a hand in fixing these issues? Thanks, Lubomir

Anyone any ideas about the remaining thread library regressions: http://beta.boost.org/development/tests/trunk/developer/issues_release_.htm… they're causing Boost.Regex failures as well apart from anything else :-( Thanks, John.

It would be nice to just be able to #include <boost/serialization/ complex.hpp>, particularly for use in conjunction with Boost.MPI...any reason that header doesn't exist? Matthias

[boostbook] Building Boost documentation

Because I wanted to read documentation on some of the new libraries in the latest Boost SVN repository, which existed only in XML format, it was time to go through the annual rite of attempting to use Doug Gregor's excellent documention of "The Boostbook Documentation Format" in order to setup the documentation system to generate documentation using bjam. Although Mr. Gregor's documentation is extremely good, I have never been completely successful in the past, but I had my fingers crossed in hopeful expectation this time. I am doing this on Windows so I have to set things up manually. 1) I downloaded xsltproc and doxygen successfully, and "installed" them into appropriate directories and, to make things easy for myself, put those directories in my PATH. 2) After making sure I had no .jam file of any kind in my home directory I went to the \tools\build\v2\user-config,jam in the directory in which the latest Boost Subversion resides, and added the line: using xsltproc ; 3) I downloaded the latest XSL stylesheets and Docbook DTD and put them in their own separate directies, "E:\Utilities\docbook-xsl-1.73.2" and "E:\Utilities\docbook-dtd-4.2". 4) I added to my user-config.jam the lines: # BoostBook configuration using boostbook : E:/Utilities/docbook-xsl-1.73.2 : E:/Utilities/docbook-dtd-4.2 ; 5) Now further following instructions to test out my installation so far I went to the \libs\function\doc after copying boostbook.css from the \doc\html directory, and tried the bjam command. Is there any easy way to define wrapper for enum type (similar to int_)? (mpl)

Hi, It seems that mpl only provide only a limited number of integer type wrappers. Are there any easy way to define wrappers for enum types by reusing some code in mpl, other than writting the code from scratch? Thanks, Peng

Hello, I hope someone can point me in a new direction for tracking down a segfault. Code that has been running fine for months started seg faulting after a directory reorganization. Valgrind says "Use of uninitialized value of size 4". Boost.Build documentation pages

Over at boost.org there's a page for Boost.Build, at: http://www.boost.org/tools/build/v2/index.html the content of which is exactly what was in the last Boost release. There's another page for Boost.Build, namely http://boost.org/boost-build2, content of which is regenerated nightly, using SVN state. The first page, generally, is outdated and wrong. For example, now it points a Milestone 11 downloads while current version of Boost.Build is M12, talks about CVS (and links to a page that does not say how to get anything from either CVS or SVN), points to development roadmap that is totally inaccurate, and so on. Generally, both the download and documentation links at http://boost.org/boost-build2 will yield better results to a user. Are there any objections to making the up-to-date docs page the one most easily found, and making docs corresponding to the last release only found via some "doc archive", or not accessible at all? (Rene's working on new website, so how this is implemented technically is separate question, I'm asking only about user-visible effect). - Volodya
