[serialization] Assertion while serializing polymorphic type through pointer to base class

Hi all, I'm trying to serialize a polymorphic type through a pointer (shared_ptr) to a base class and I'm getting an assertion deep inside the library here: archive/detail/oserializer.hpp, line 417. I'm using V1.34.1 for this. Is there anything known about this assertion? Anything obvious I'm missing? Regards Hartmut

[asio] buffer_size overloads for *BufferSequence's

For getting things like the Content-Length in the http protocol when using scatter/gather IO, I've found the following buffer_size overloads to be useful. Might be worth adding them to the lib (after perhaps specializing for all bidriectional sequence containers). [fusion] invoke_function_object and references

I have a function object that doesn't work with fusion's invoke_function_object. It is sensitive to whether arguments are passed by reference or by value, but when evaluating the result type, invoke_function_object strips top level references.
