Yes, I've looked at it before vacation but had some suspicious about removing 
the check for file existence in the 'archive' action. Now I realize the the 
deletion command has "-f" switch, so the existence check is not necessary.

I've comitted your patch, thanks. Unfortunately, I was not able to rerun tests 
on Windows, so keep fingers crossed ;-)
