Sorry for the extended delay on responses....off the net on vacation for an
extended period. Short answer is that no, they haven't been resolved yet.

Yep, in fact I was looking for someone that has time to look at this carefully
to do this update and send me a patch -- someone about a month ago said they
would do this, but haven't seen anything yet. As for when it will be
released, I may have to ask the release manager to permit an update. I wasn't
expecting 1.34 release to drag into 2007.

This is true -- does your application require historic dates with timezone
lookups or only current dates?
