We really need to decide on a filetype extension for the namespace
boost headers. Having some .h and some .hpp is just too confusing.

In discussion of this issue a while ago, the only real technical
argument was that separate extensions for C and C++ was of some help
to external programs, such as make programs. This argues for .hpp
for boost, leaving .h for C headers.

Egroups has a mechanism for member polls. Let's give it a try to
settle this issue. (Part of the reason for doing this is to test
this method for getting member feedback.)

Let's take two days to discuss the issue, then around noon Eastern
Daylight Time I will open up a member poll on
http://www.egroups.com/list/boost with a "vote for one only" choice
on the question:

I prefer namespace boost header filetype extensions to be:

       A) .h
       B) .hpp
       C) Left up to submitter

The vote will close at 4 PM (EDT), Friday, the 17.
