A few months ago, Glen informed me that the Boost download was not working and asked if we could help host it. I spoke to Sam, and we decided the quickest way to get the download working again was to use our AWS for hosting. The rarely used http://boostreleases.cppalliance.org CDN had already been configured, and we added http://archives.boost.io as well. After a few months, we switched from the AWS CDN to a Fastly CDN at a more favorable monthly rate. AWS is still involved as the origin servers for the Fastly distribution.
